I had just received an award, a huge trophy, for something involving aero-space crap. I was attending yet another memorial function. I knew the girl who had brought mock ups of the billboards she had designed. Don Ameche & some other old actor pulled me aside. They were fooling around and making jokes and drinking. In the swank hotel bathroom, Ameche showed me some of his vampire porn.

Some young guys who probably didn't know what they were doing were starting a "controlled burn" of a portion of a wooded area. We took the cats out to an adjacent field to watch. The cats found a moss with catnip-like effects.
