I was sitting in an auditorium waiting to hear a discussion on some kind of civic/social/political topic. I was in the front row on the aisle on the left side of the right hand section. I looked around and saw the auditorium was full with people crowding into the back. Across the aisle from me was a guy I knew by reputation. He was animatedly talking with an event organizer sitting at the foot of the stage. The fella I recognized made a statement rather loudly and the auditorium erupted into applause. He looked around, startled at the packed auditorium and, I think, a little surprised at their appreciation of his thought.
The organizer seized the moment to call the discussion panel to the stage.

A sister & I visited our hometown & stopped by our old house. The big old Carter house next door was vacant. We poked around & found an open door. Inside was lots of left behind furniture, books & stuff. As we looked around, we lost track of time. We spent the night there. We made a point to keep lights off so as to not arouse the suspicions of the police. One problem was that her sky blue Buick station wagon was too long to fit in the garage. We had to leave the door open.
The next day, as we were fixing to leave, people started coming by to greet us as new neighbors. We explained ourselves & as we tried to leave, the people started coming in & discussing their memories of the house & the people who used to live there. More people came. People brought food. They started barbecuing in the yard. It had the feel of a very happy wake. The police finally came but they just walked through. Then some skinny blond guy with a beard showed up. He was driving a UC van & blocked in the Buick station wagon. He gave us a list of everything we had stolen & damaged. The list was one of those old matrix printer things with the punch holes on the sides. People quickly came to our defense and marked up the form with items that were brought in by visitors and not stolen and comments about damage already existing. I berated the UC rep for wanting to use the house for student housing in an upper middle class suburban neighborhood. That the guy was from the University of Cincinnati when we were not in Cincinnati didn't seem to phase me.....

So, I guess there had been some kind of revolution & I was, as usual, on the losing side. It appeared that the assholes had won. They were capturing & enslaving all who had opposed them & I had been rounded up, too.
We were being forced into some kind of parade & the onlookers were pelting us losers with rocks, & garbage. I got fed up & started picking up the missiles & hurling them back. I was whisked away with some old guy. We were stripped & taken to a quarry to break rocks. An old commandant offered us gloves. The old guy was pissed & refused them. I urged him to take them. The commandant made the old guy wail & kick on rocks with his bare feet and hands.
Later, the assholes tried to frame another commandant, I believe it was Robert Conrad, for immoral behavior. Homosexuality. They spread incriminating pictures of him about. My old commandant & I noticed something in the images that indicated they were faked.
My old commandant got me a more professional job, as a slave, but everyone there was one of the assholes and gave me shit for every little thing. I became argumentative and started confronting people about everything they did.
