We gathered at Julie's to go out to lunch. Rob showed up and so did a gaggle of Julie's family including cousins, aunts, uncles & nieces & nephews. Her basement looked just like mine but it was neat & clean & painted bright blue.
When we went out to the car, the street & houses all looked real small. Rob noticed it, too. The street was brick which looked kind of out of place for the mid 20th century cottage houses on the street.
There was a kid sleeping in the car which presented a dilemma since there wasn't room for 5 in the car.

Somehow I wound up at a service station in, like, Iowa or Minneota or something. I was on vacation & was having car problems. The tall thin, geekily cute vlonde manager was helpful but the staff was kind of surly & jerkish. They worked on my car & I went off riding around sight-seeing on my bicycle while the work was being done. I found & rode around a large abandoned factory grounds and through a modest to nice neighborhood probably constructed in the 20s or 40s. It was fall.
I got back to the service station & work was semi done but there was some problem with the bike & car. Bike rack? Again, the manager (Tina?) was very nice and apologized for the ill mannered staff.
